Our Week in Photos (Week 13 of 52)

HAPPY SPRING!!! <—– Can’t stop looking at that flower from our church. Beautiful!

Thanks for the birthday well wishes everyone! It was the best 3oth birthday I’ll ever have. You can see my pirates read all about it at my BIRTHDAY POST. And did someone say TRUFFLES? Yes, I did make some for my birthday, and I just got some condensed milk to try it out another way. Good thing I didn’t make resolutions to go on a diet ever this year. And if anyone is in the San Francisco area, you must try BURMA SUPERSTAR where we went for my birthday. They have some interesting food.

Tomorrow, we’re stuffing envelopes with invites to my sister’s wedding. Wow, only 105 days until the big day!! I can’t believe we’re heading into April soon. Check out the rest of our WEEK 13 OF 52 or see the slideshow below.

  1. Looks like a fantastic birthday! You had great eats!! YUM!
You have the cutest pirates ever I think it’s safe to say! Very sweet! How much gel did you have to use on Emily’s hair in that one picture with Norm’s mom?? It was so tame. That sweet thing is cute with tame or untamed hair!
That flower is incredible. It is perfect! Don’t you just love spring!? We have wisteria growing across the front of our house and it is just about to bloom out. The buds have been appearing for the past several days. We look forward to the wisteria blooms every year.
    Have a blessed weekend!

    • I’m so glad to be in the Bay Area because we have a TON of good food places. That’s the only reason why I would want to live in San Francisco, but I like getting a parking space within an hour of my search (esp if it’s in front of my house) so we just had to leave.

No gel in Emily’s hair…it was after her bath so the water helped. =p

I am loving all the spring flowers at our church. Too bad I don’t know anything about gardening or we’d have some in our yard. Thanks for stopping by as usual.

  2. Happy Birthday! There are a lot of birthdays this last week in our little coffee group. I loved looking at your pictures. Your pirate is darling and your birthday dinner and dessert all looked delicious. Enjoy your weekend.

  3. I just love your little pirates Joyce…and your birthday lunch looked very yummy…what a wonderful day with your hubby! As to where my hubby will be in California…it’s Longbeach…I don’t think that’s near San Francisco..which I’ve always wanted to visit…watching all those t.v. shows that took place there I guess. Getting ready for a wedding is so exciting….i wish we had one coming up in our family!

  4. Oh, Joyce, to be 30 again!!! :o) Happy, Happy Birthday! You have the most adorable children and ya’ll are a precious family. Your birthday lunch looked scrumptious! Blessings galore to you and here’s to at least 70 more birthdays!!

  5. The pictures show that you had a fun birthday week! That food looked incredibly good. We used to live in SE Asia and I miss the freshness and flavors that could be ordered so easily and inexpensively there.

    May your wishes come true!

  6. I’m so glad you had a terrific birthday. 🙂 30 was a good year. It only gets better!

The chicken nuggets I made with my daughter are not deep fried. They are oven baked. It was so easy and a lot of fun. Milk, bread crumbs, a little melted butter, and salt and pepper. That’s it! Well, chicken too, of course. 🙂

    Have a great weekend!

  7. Happy Belated Birthday! Looks like yummy treats all around.

My best friend lives in San Fran; I’ll have to try and remember this restaurant and go there with her sometime. The salads look delicious.

Your pirates ARE way too cute!
