Okay, so that’s belated, but that’s how we roll around here.
Norm has another 5-day weekend, so Melody will be so sad when she wakes up to find him gone on Monday morning. And Norm will be sad to walk in the cold to the BART station. But… he’s only working 4 days this week because I have my 2nd ultrasound on Friday!! This is the one where we find out if it’s a boy or a girl. It was supposed to be earlier, but because of the holidays, the schedule for the ultrasound place was backed up.
I had an appointment today. It was just the usual monthly checkup. I got to hear the heartbeat again, so that was great. And I’m at Week 20 which means we’re halfway there. It’s going by really fast. We know a few people who recently had babies (congrats!), and a lot more who will have babies a little before us or around the same time. It should be exciting.
Norm took the RDX in for servicing this afternoon too. I can’t believe it’s almost 2 years old. Norm got to drive it for a year to work when we first bought it, and now that he takes public transportation and we’re out in Castro Valley, I’ve been driving it for almost a year. So it doesn’t seem like we’ve had it that long.
We decided to make potatoes au gratin for dinner because we haven’t had it for awhile, along with rice pilaf, Chinese sausage and ham. My dad bought this rice for us and it’s hard when you cook it, and so far the best that I’ve tasted is when we make fried rice or rice pilaf. And the sausage and ham was just because it’s what we have in the fridge.
Well, we’ll post “Our Week in Photos” tomorrow, so stay tuned.
