Sweet sisters! One of Emily’s favorite parts is reading about the illustrator, Breezy Brookshire, because she has a sister named Emily. 🙂
This book came at the perfect time. We were having a women’s retreat at our church, and I got to have some quiet ‘me and God’ time. It was wonderful to reflect and hear Him speak. The passage that we were to read over was Psalm 139, which is part of what this book is about!!

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. – Psalm 139:14

I always love the secret garden 🙂
Kayla, I would love to re-read that again one day…maybe with my girls.
I had a Holley Hobby doll that opened and closed her eyes when you pulled on her pig tails. Now that I think about it, it is kind of creepy isn’t it?? 🙂
Kristin, I’m kinda scared to do a search on that day. :p I had one of those dolls(? not even sure it can be called that) where you squeezed it and the eyeballs popped out.
I had an elephant that played “you are my sunshine”, a special song my mom & I shared. 🙂
jacci, my girl has an elephant that plays a song too, but not ‘you are my sunshine’. How great that it has special meaning to you and it was what the elephant played!
When I was little, I had only 1 stuffed animal. It was a grey seal and I had it as long as I could remember 🙂 My girls have 4 baskets of stuffed animals!!! I even don’t know where to put them.
Thanks for the review of the book!
I love my Hello Color “My Melody” toy that changes from a purple color to a pink color when you put it in hot water. I’m still so sad that I lost it.
My daughter’s favorite bear is mrs. Chocolate…named after her brothers bear..mr chocolate
