I think we are officially done with all “1st day” for the school year activities. *whew* Now we can finally get into the rhythm of a “regular” routine. Since I’m obviously not really blogging as much anymore, I’ll give a quick recap of what all has been happening. The girls are both in the production of A Year with Frog and Toad. Melody is playing the part of Mouse, and Emily is in the Bird Chorus. The girls’ various activities throughout the week (Awana, Alpha Omega Kids, and 3-in-1 choir for Melody), and weekend (church children’s choir) have been keeping them busy. I am serving in MOPS again as Publicity coordinator, doing lots of stuff with HelloMornings, and also facilitating our Young Families group at church with Norm. Norm is continuing to play in the praise band at church. And of course, we are homeschooling too. We are a part of the Classical Conversations community, and the girls are impressing me with their memory work!…it’s only week 2 though. :p

  1. Hi Joyce! It looks like you are as busy as ever this fall! My kids are all back in school and we are in full swing here. We also do AWANA, and I am a MOPS mom’s mentor this year. Plus I have two kids in youth group on Sunday nights and my oldest is running Cross Country. Lot’s of fun! 🙂

I hope you have a really blessed week! It’s so fun to follow what your family is up to here and on facebook.
