What a long exhausting but fun week! Yesterday when I woke up I thought to myself, “Man, this week is dragging on and on.” Then I realized it was Thursday, not Wednesday. And then I thought, “Man, this week went by so fast.” haha I was also planning on making a breakfast casserole and realized that Melody’s doctor’s appointment was in the morning. It was the big Kindergarten checkup. She was so brave getting all her shots. There were 4 shots, the TB test, and a finger prick for the blood test. The nurse was so surprised that she didn’t cry. I’m not sure if she was just saying this to make Melody feel better, but she said that Melody was the first kid that she’s seen not cry during the Kindergarten shots. She has only cried once (Emily too) getting shots. I think she was around 6 months old. She liked the eye game and the ear game though. =p
Anyway, it was a super duper fun week even if Emily was a little under the weather. We tried a lot of new things, and got to hang out with a lot of cool people. Did you hang out with any cool people this week?

It does sound like a busy week! I love your DIY gameboard; what fun you had just “hanging out” with Norm! Honestly, I think our society seriously undervalues the impact of a good “hang out” session.
What a brave little girl…not crying at all! Kindergarten already! There must be something in the air because I also kept getting the days mixed up this week…hope you and your lovely family have a wonderfulkweekend Joyce.
Again… hungry after I read your post! 🙂 Don’t you love Skype? What a wonderful thing for those sisters to be able to see and talk to each other! Wow kindergarten already, it goes by really fast…I know, ’cause I took my fifteen year old to the dr. this week for his booster vaccine, I guess I must have blinked!
Have a great week!
