The weekend was another full one, and I was glad to have a “normal” week this week. Norm took Monday off, but once again, he was not feeling well. This seems to happen when he takes a day off. Boo! PTO became a ‘sick day’. Had my first dentist appointment since…awhile back…well, we’ll just leave it at that. Bummer, there are more appointments to come, but at least I like my new dentist!! She plays the flute on the worship team with Norm. I’m still not caught up on photos, but oh well. I started memorizing Psalm 143 if anyone wants to join me. Another new opportunity has arisen. I’ll let you know more later. I always keep you guys in suspense, huh? =p Sorry about that. We are gearing up for a new school year soon, so I’ve had that on my brain for awhile. I can’t believe “summer” is ending soon. We are finishing it off with some more playdates, a trip to the zoo, and a few other things. I better stop typing before I get overwhelmed. =p Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Keeping up with the Moys 
We did Pandamania this year for VBS too! It seemed pretty fun. Since I don’t have kids, I didn’t stay much past the registration time 🙂

I know! I would never have enough patience to do the layer ones. The most I can get is 2 layers and then I just want to eat it!
I can’t believe summer is almost over either. It went so fast. Glad you’ll have some more fun before the kids are off to school.
I’m not a big fan of the dentist either but mine is quite gentle ..which is a good thing. Our kids don’t start back to school until September so we’ve got a few weeks left to go before summer ends. Have a great week, Joyce!
I can’t tell you the last time I went to the dentist…..that’s terrible. Our dentist retired and then we had trouble finding one etc etc. Bad excuse. Only one more week and then my last baby starts his senior year – what happened???? Time, not just the summer, has really flown.
What made you choose Ps. 143?
Great idea for the sleepover practice! we haver done any sleepovers for any of our kids – yet – where they’re away from us. Though we have all been in a few hotels.
Your garden looks better tended than mine, LOL! Mine has a LOT of weeds. Though I did get some potatoes this past week, and will dig up some more. My tomatoe and pepper plants still need to change colour too, the fruits are all green yet.
I’m glad I’m finally able to make the rounds on blogs! Though my kids are bugging me for a turn on my iPod already, LOL!
