Our week was filled with random events. We went shoe shopping for the wedding. We found shoes that match the dresses exactly!! Yahooo! We are moving the girls to the big room, so there’s a lot of rearranging of furniture and stuff. I think they like sharing a room. They, however, do not like sharing an infection. We decided to take them to the doctor’s and the result was for them to take an antibiotic for 10 days. Boo on allergies! This was a first non-well-baby checkup doctor’s visit for both of them. Emily really enjoyed it, and did very well. =p The wedding rehearsal was yesterday. Here’s hoping we will make it to the wedding on time!!! esp since the girls are the flowergirls. We will most likely have to wake them from their naps, which is something we normally will not do. Dentist visit? Birthday parties? So, you see, it was just a hodgepodge of activities for us. Fun, and lots of different things going on. I really hope to return to our regularly scheduled routine once summer ends. Have a fantastic weekend everyone!!! Ooo, and congrats to fellow Company Girls Cindy and Heather on their new additions, as well as fellow MOPS mommy Genevieve and an old church friend Eugene!! I probably missed a few people, but looks like there was a lot to celebrate this week!

  1. Summer brings so many fun things, but it does play havoc with a routine! I’m sure the girls will be delightful little flower girls; I hope the antibiotics start doing their job right away so they can feel better. Allergies are no fun at all.

  2. Hope everyone feels better, my daughter is getting married in less than a month so understand. Thanks for visiting my blog and your kind words.

  3. Hi Joyce! Sorry to hear that your girls are sick. We suffer from allergies here too.

Looks like you are keeping busy this summer! Do you ever just want to take a week where there’s absolutely nothing planned? I sometimes wonder what that would look like! 🙂

Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog. Things really are coming along here. I am trying to find activities for the kids to do that will help them meet a few kids their age before school starts.

    Have a great weekend!
