Our Week in Photos (Week 47 of 52)

What little girl doesn’t like dressing up in a beautiful gown? Melody loved it, and she was so excited about all the shoes. haha That was the highlight of the week. Check out a few photos of the flowergirl-to-be from Week 47 of 52.  The appointment was actually for the MOHs and maid to try on dresses, but we didn’t find anything we really liked. Jen did end up getting something for us, but I can’t tell ya about it. You’ll have to wait until the wedding like everyone else. Other than that, the week has been ho-hum. We’re hosting Thanksgiving Dinner at our place tomorrow. I’m hoping to prep a few things today. At first, it was just a few people, and then a few more, and then even more…Tune in next week for how it all turned out.

  1. That sounds like it was such a fun day full of girls trying on dresses. Even if it wasn’t successful, it was still a nice day of “dress up”. 🙂
I can’t get over how precious your girls are!

I hope your Thanksgiving celebration is wonderful!

  2. Oh, goodness! That dress is to die for…Melody looks darling in it! I always love your captions…”twirling” is perfect for every little girl.

I hope your “small” Thanksgiving goes great!! Enjoy.

  3. When I as 5 yrs old, I was a flower girl and I remember feeling very special in my long gown…like a bride! :0) They will be wonderful memories for your daughter!

  4. She is so pretty! She will have such fun dressing up and being a part of the big day! Look forward to the pictures of your Thanksgiving meal! Have a great one!

  5. Melody is a perfect princess! Great pictures Joyce! How do you manage getting such great pictures with two little ones. I can either never remember my camera or I remember it and never pull it out.

I love hosting Thanksgiving! I want to know what your menu will be. What a great time! How fun that your guest list is growing.
Can’t wait to hear all about it.

    Blessings,

  6. Such a cute princess! 🙂

I hope your Thanksgiving went great! We’re having my SIL and her hubby over for dinner on Thursday. I have so much to be thankful for around this time of year. Today is my birthday, but many years ago I was born on Thanksgiving. Three years ago tomorrow my youngest was born on Thanksgiving. 🙂

So on this snowy, cold morning, I am very thankful for family!

    Have a great upcoming week!
